Roland Nyama brings steady two-way wing value for Stony Brook
Nyama is a dependable **rotation wing** for Stony Brook, producing **6.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game** while shooting **41.1% from the field** in the 2025-26 season, which points to a low-mistake, glue-guy profile rather than a high-usage scorer.[2] He has also shown he can handle a real workload, starting **28 of 32 games** last season and averaging **7.3 points and 3.6 rebounds**, with a notably stronger scoring mark at home (**10.3 ppg**), suggesting he competes well in stable roles and can fit a team that values size, consistency, and reliable effort on the wing.[4]
