Alberto Santos IV

Live-arm righty with size, feel, and room to pop

Alberto Santos IV is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound right-handed pitcher for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with a workable frame and projectable college arm traits. Recruiting data listed him with an upper-80s fastball, a solid changeup, and a breaking ball, which points to a pitcher who can attack with three pitches and develop into a tougher at-bat as he matures. The big question is upside: his profile suggests value as a durable strike-thrower who could grow into more velocity and sharper secondary stuff, making him an intriguing fit for a staff that likes development-minded arms.
