Dartmouth LHP Andrew Lombana: Freshman Lefty with Walk-Off Resilience and Elite Control
Andrew Lombana, a 6-foot freshman left-handed pitcher from South Jordan, UT, is emerging as Dartmouth’s most reliable arm in the 2025 season, showcasing elite control and a calm demeanor under pressure. His differentiator is his ability to lock hitters down in high-stakes moments—evident when he held Merrimack scoreless through seven innings before a dramatic walk-off loss [1]. Lombana’s intensity and poise stand out among peers; he doesn’t chase outs but forces hitters to beat him, a trait that makes him a low-risk, high-upside fit for teams needing a steady lefty. No injury history reported, and his rapid adaptation to NCAA pitching suggests he’s ready for immediate contribution.
