Rory Finn is Delaware’s high-upside infield bat with a knack for clutch damage
In the 2025 season, Delaware infielder Rory Finn showed real pop and RBI juice for a freshman, appearing in 43 games with 37 starts and finishing with 26 hits, 3 home runs, 26 RBI, and 22 walks, while earning CAA Rookie of the Week after a .667 week that included a huge series against Penn[1][14]. His best trait is impact: he can change a game quickly, as shown by multiple extra-base-hit outbursts and a 5-RBI game, but the hit tool still looks like a developing one rather than a finished product[1][4][14]. He looks like the kind of competitive, middle-infield/corner-infield fit who brings edge, patience, and run production more than polished bat-to-ball certainty[1][6].
