Jared Schaeffer brings proven strike-throwing innings for DBU
A senior right-hander for Dallas Baptist, Jared Schaeffer has shown he can handle real workload and flash swing-and-miss stuff, including a career-high 12-strikeout outing and a 2024 season at Akron in which he logged 81.1 innings with 61 strikeouts. His profile suggests a durable, trusted starter who can work deep into games, but his run prevention has been uneven, so he fits best for a team that values experience, competitiveness, and innings-eating reliability as much as pure dominance.
