Jayden Trapp brings proven trench toughness to UTEP
Jayden Trapp enters UTEP as a redshirt sophomore interior offensive lineman with real game experience, having played in seven games at Texas A&M-Kingsville in 2025 and earned 2025 All-Lone Star Conference second-team honors. He’s a compact, physical blocker at 6-foot-3 and about 294 pounds, and the fit is obvious: he helped anchor an offense that produced more than 1,490 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns. That kind of résumé says he can help UTEP get nastier up front—especially if you want a dependable, blue-collar interior piece with upside.
