Lanae Riley brings stretch-forward scoring and proven two-way upside for Akron
Riley is a 6-foot forward who, in the 2023-24 season, gave Akron a valuable inside-out weapon by averaging 8.3 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 46.9% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range; she also showed she can defend and make winning plays with steals, blocks and a pair of double-digit scoring bursts.[9][15] Her 2024-25 season was limited to six games by injury, so the key question is durability, but when healthy she looks like a strong fit for teams that want a forward who can space the floor and compete hard on both ends.[8][9]
