Hunter Meyer brings twitchy center-field upside and a real contact base to Cal State Fullerton
In the 2026 season, Hunter Meyer appeared in 42 games with 39 starts for Cal State Fullerton and hit .252 with 37 hits, 6 doubles, 13 RBIs and 11 walks, showing a steady freshman baseline rather than empty-tools noise.[1][4] The Titans liked his athleticism enough to project him as a player who can handle all three outfield spots, and reports from his summer ball stint describe an intense worker who plays best when he’s relaxed and free—good signs for a high-motor fit who can grow into more pop.[2][11]
