Quentin Gibson is Colorado’s sparkplug return man with untapped WR juice
In the 2025 season, Quentin Gibson flashed as a true freshman for Colorado, finishing with 15 receptions for 71 yards on offense while becoming the Buffaloes’ primary kickoff returner and earning FWAA Freshman Special Teams Player of the Year honors. His biggest differentiator is burst: he plays with real juice, fearless toughness, and enough change-of-direction pop to create instant momentum on returns and after the catch. He’s still a size-and-production bet at receiver, but if you want a high-energy weapon who can tilt field position and bring lightning in a bottle, Gibson absolutely belongs on the radar.
