Caleb Tanner brings disruptive defense and mistake-free guard play
Tanner profiles as a high-impact, low-usage guard whose value comes from his defense, decision-making, and composure: in the referenced 2025 freshman season, he posted 7.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.3 steals per game while shooting over 53% from the field and recording 31 assists with 0 turnovers through 15 games. That combination suggests a player who protects the ball, pressures the perimeter, and can fit cleanly into a winning backcourt without needing touches to matter.
