Brooke Beam brings power, volume, and two-way upside to Lipscomb's circle and infield
In the 2026 season, Brooke Beam gave Lipscomb innings, starts, and swing-and-miss ability, leading the team with 19 starts, 117 innings pitched, 52 strikeouts, and 4 complete games; she also picked up 3 wins, 2 saves, and showed the kind of durability coaches love[1]. The not-so-pretty part: the walk rate was high, so her value is more about toughness, workload, and competitive fire than pure command right now[1]. As a 5-foot-10 P/IF with high-school pedigree and All-American recognition, she looks like a versatile fit if a staff wants a physical arm who can grow into sharper consistency[2].
