Citadel's 6-8 Dutch Center with Elite Rally Intensity
Tom Koopman, a 6-8 (2m03) center from Weert, Netherlands, graduated The Citadel in 2017 and stands out for his relentless rally intensity—tallying five crucial points during a 2015 SoCon Tournament comeback rally[1]. Though listed as a center, his 6-7 to 6-9 frame and power forward versatility make him a unique differentiator who thrives in high-pressure moments[2][3]. He went undrafted in 2017 but remains an unrestricted free agent with professional experience in the Dutch DBL[6]. His personality is defined by grit and adaptability, having played internationally with Den Helder Suns[3]. For teams seeking a high-intensity, versatile big man with proven comeback DNA, Koopman is a strong fit despite his age (born 1995) and lack of NBA draft status[2].
