Towering RHP with 95 MPH Heat Bringing JUCO Dominance to LMU Lions
Class of 2030 right-hander Jonah Johnson, a 6'3", 203 lb power arm from Discovery Canyon HS (CO), committed to Loyola Marymount after captaining his JUCO squad to All-ACCAC honors, leading pitchers with a .221 opponent average and 42 strikeouts in his final year. Boasting a top fastball of 95 mph (consistent 92) and an 87 mph changeup, his leadership, prior St. Scholastica experience, and commanding presence make him a Friday night starter fit—high-intensity competitor ready to anchor LMU's rotation with swing-and-miss stuff.
