a tough, high-contact utility bat who did damage for App State in 2026
In the 2026 season, Riley Luft played and started 52 games for App State and hit .310 with a .432 on-base percentage, 10 doubles, five home runs, 44 RBIs and 46 runs scored, showing a blend of table-setting patience and middle-order pop. He’s also positioned as a versatile utility piece with enough athleticism to cover multiple spots, and his prep resume noted top-tier Florida rankings from Perfect Game. The fit is obvious: consistent bat-to-ball skills, on-base value, and real run production.
