towering USF rim protector with rare feel and passing touch
Nikola Scekic brings legitimate center size at 7-foot-2 and a skill package that USF highlighted for post scoring, perimeter spacing, passing, and defense; in the 2017-18 season at South Florida, he played 32 games and averaged 2.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in 15.5 minutes, with an earlier stretch of 30 games and 1.2 points in 2017-18 on Sports-Reference’s game logs. The bigger story is fit: he was praised for high basketball IQ, daily work habits, and the ability to anchor a defense, which makes him more than a paint body. If you want a big who can think the game, not just stand in it, he’s your guy.
