Freshman infielder with power pedigree and upside
Hudson Hartgrove enters Louisiana Tech as a 6-foot, 200-pound freshman infielder from Cedar Ridge HS in Round Rock, Texas, and his prep profile suggests a bat with real pop rather than a pure glove-first identity. In 2025, he was listed among Texas home-run stat leaders with 5 home runs, which hints at sneaky pull power and run-producing ability for a young corner/utility-type infielder. He’s a fit for teams wanting a physical, right-handed hitter with upside, though his college impact is still largely projection since there’s no recorded Louisiana Tech season stat line yet.
