Ormanie Arnold brings veteran depth, ball production, and plug-and-play cornerback value to New Mexico
Ormanie Arnold is a seasoned 5-8, 178-pound corner with real production and versatility: in the 2023 season at Idaho, he started all 13 games and posted 33 tackles, 2 interceptions, 5 pass breakups, and a fumble return TD, and in the 2025 season at Cincinnati he added 16 tackles and 3 pass breakups in 10 games. His appeal is the combo platter—experienced, competitive, and scheme-trustworthy—plus he already has familiarity with New Mexico coach Jason Eck’s staff. If you want a gritty, mature CB who has shown he can make plays and fit multiple systems, Arnold is a smart fit.
