Aaron Young is ODU’s volume back with burst and finishing power
In the 2024 season, Aaron Young was the engine of Old Dominion’s ground game, rushing for 887 yards and 8 touchdowns on 172 carries while adding 71 receiving yards; that’s the profile of a back who can handle real workload and still punch it in near the goal line. The big differentiator is reliability plus juice: he paired 5.2 yards per carry with a heavy touch load, and ODU’s own coverage described him as “the guy” for the Monarchs. If a team wants an experienced, compact, productive RB who can create steady offense, he’s worth a serious look.
