Caleb Johnson brings switch-hit pop, speed, and infield impact to Jax State
Johnson has been a catalyst for Jacksonville State with a blend of contact, extra-base power, and game-changing speed, earning Conference USA Hitter of the Week honors after a .588 week with 10 hits, a homer, three doubles, six RBI, and seven steals in 2026. He was also a steady shortstop presence for Jax State in 2024, and his profile points to an aggressive, versatile middle-infield bat that can pressure defenses in multiple ways. If you want an infielder who can hit for average, create chaos on the bases, and handle premium defensive responsibility, he fits.
