Isaiah Hobbs brings veteran guard size and a sharp basketball IQ to Texas
Isaiah Hobbs is a 6-3 senior guard for Texas with a broad-shouldered, experienced frame and a psychology background that fits the kind of steady, detail-oriented presence coaches love. Texas lists him as a Palm Beach, Florida native who previously played at Howard College, and that junior-college path usually signals toughness, maturity, and a willingness to earn minutes the hard way[1]. Publicly available team info shows him as a senior guard on the 2025-26 roster, but there isn’t enough current stat-tracking data here to fairly project his box-score impact, so the real appeal is as a seasoned, adaptable backcourt piece who can stabilize a roster with poise and maturity[1].
