Devontae Da Costa brings freshman poise and two-way utility to OLLU
In the 2025-26 season, Devontae Da Costa has already shown he can chip in efficiently for Our Lady of the Lake, including a 15-point outing on 4-of-5 shooting against Texas A&M–San Antonio and a 6-point, 3-steal effort in a 90-46 loss to Lamar[4][7]. At 6'4", he gives the Saints a guard-sized wing who can attack the rim, defend multiple spots, and stay active in the passing lanes[1][3]. The appeal is upside: a freshman with size, energy, and enough scoring touch to project as a useful glue piece if his shot stabilizes.
