Cortaz Williams gives CCSU a tough, compact rushing option with multi-year FCS experience
In the 2025 season, Cortaz Williams has been a role back for Central Connecticut State, logging 6 carries for 24 yards and 0 touchdowns, with his recent production showing limited volume but steady availability. He brings a sturdy 5-10, 205-pound frame, veteran senior status, and a profile built on reliability rather than flash. Why care? He looks like a depth piece who can grind out tough yards, protect the football, and fit a physical run game, though there is no clear evidence of high-end explosiveness or featured-back production yet.
