Nate Watson brings proven low-post scoring and efficient finishing for Providence
Watson is a sturdy, old-school center who has been valued at Providence for his efficient interior scoring, physical screens, and rim protection; ESPN listed him at 11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 57.0% shooting in his college profile, while Providence named him a 2021-22 preseason First Team All-BIG EAST selection. He stands out more for power, touch, and presence than pace or perimeter skill, making him a fit for teams needing a dependable paint anchor rather than a stretch big. [3][4]
