Alex Nunnally is best known as a longtime NC State guard who brought value beyond box-score numbers: in his Cary Academy senior season, he averaged 15.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 47% from the field and 39% from three, and he set school records for single-game and single-season threes before becoming a respected walk-on in Raleigh. His current on-court role has been limited, but his shooting touch, program familiarity, and steady, team-first presence make him the kind of glue player coaches love to keep around.
