Barczi’s power pops, but health is the swing factor
Colin Barczi has real middle-of-the-order juice for Vanderbilt: in the 2025 season he hit .258 with 8 home runs and 39 RBIs, and he famously erupted for three homers in one game to open 2026. The upside is obvious — right-handed power, physicality, and catcher value — but the differentiator is whether he can stay on the field and handle the grind, after 2026 injury interruptions limited his catching reps. If a team wants a rugged, power-minded backstop with SEC upside, Barczi is worth caring about.
