From 1,175-Point Collegiate Legend to Pro Scorer with Elite Intensity
Taj Benning is not a current student-athlete but a 2021 Fairfield graduate who returned as an Assistant Coach in 2023, having scored 1,175 points (28th all-time) and played 145 games (second-most in history) as a 6'3" Point Guard. His differentiator is unmatched intensity and a 'playoff' mindset, evidenced by guiding the Stags to MAAC Championship Games in 2018 and 2021, and now averaging 16.7 PPG in the Australian NBL1. With no injury history and a personality defined by hard work and helping others, he is a perfect fit for any team needing a high-intensity leader who bridges collegiate grit with professional scoring, though he is not available as a player for recruitment.
