Jaylin Jones brings length, upside, and edge-setting juice to Baylor
In the 2024 season at UTEP, Jaylin Jones played 12 games, posted 12 tackles and 1 tackle for loss, and earned C-USA All-Freshman honors; Baylor added him as a 6-foot-6, 230-pound transfer to play JACK/outside linebacker in 2025. He stands out for rare length, frame potential, and a developmental ceiling that fits an attacking front, but he also redshirted 2025 at Baylor and did not see game action, so the appeal is more about projection than proven production right now. If your team wants a big, twitchy edge body with room to grow, he’s a swing worth taking.
