Mason Pilarski brings pop, polish and versatility to WMU’s infield
Pilarski entered Western Michigan in 2026 as a D1Baseball Impact Freshman and a top Michigan prep shortstop, and he’s already shown why: he can play multiple infield spots, deliver clutch extra-base hits, and compete with a steady, team-first edge. In the 2026 season, he hit .203 over 52 games with a .536 slugging mark, and he also picked up his first career pitching win in a walk-off victory, a nice little two-way cameo that hints at his baseball IQ and competitive grit. Good fit if you want athleticism, versatility, and upside.
