Aidan Teel brought SEC-caliber on-base skills and polish to Mississippi State
Teel entered Mississippi State in 2026 as a transfer with a proven bat, strong strike-zone discipline, and real all-field contact ability; in 2025 at Virginia he hit .317 with 20 doubles, seven homers, 40 RBIs and more walks than strikeouts, and Mississippi State listed him among its national-honor outfielders. He finished his lone Bulldogs season at .294 with five homers, 22 RBIs, six steals and 38 runs, then was drafted by the Twins in the 11th round, a nice clue that pro evaluators liked the package: steady center-field defense, competitive at-bats, and a player who can fit a winning lineup without needing the spotlight.
