Paint-Patroling, Rim-Rocking Forward With a Pro’s Finish
Kris Bankston was a high-impact Norfolk State big in 2022-23, averaging 14.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks while shooting 68.8% from the field, and he also earned All-MEAC First Team and All-Defensive Team honors that season[3][13]. His calling card is efficiency, physicality, and vertical pop — he can finish through contact, anchor the rim on defense, and bring the kind of intensity that changes the tone of a game[10][4]. If your team needs a tough, polished forward who protects the paint and plays with force, Bankston is exactly the sort of old-school headache opponents hate.
