Season-High 21-Point Scorer with Elite 3P% for Northern Colorado Bears
Paul Garnica, a 6-0, 160-pound guard from San Antonio, TX, delivered a season-high 21 points in Northern Colorado’s 78-63 win over Idaho State, shooting 6/9 from three (46.7% 3P% seasonally) and anchoring a school-record 15/21 three-point performance. Beyond stats, Garnica’s differentiators include relentless perimeter intensity, a sharp “Devon Beitzel-like” offensive IQ, and a fearless scoring mentality that elevates team tempo. Though undersized, his 2 steals and 2 assists per game reflect defensive hustle and playmaking. With no reported injury history and a 2023–24 season averaging 6.8 PPG, 42.3% 3P%, and 80% FT%, he’s a high-fit, low-risk addition for teams needing a dynamic, high-intensity guard who thrives in clutch moments and elevates team shooting.
