High-Velocity Two-Way Prep Star with Elite Strikeout Ability Despite 2026 ERA Struggles
Aiden Pollock is a dynamic two-way player (OF/RHP) for the Nevada Wolf Pack, standing out as a former top prep recruit from Bishop Gorman with a fastball reaching 95.6 mph and a 4.25 ERA in 36 innings during his 2024 freshman season. While his 2026 stats show a challenging 10.71 ERA over 19.1 innings with 18 strikeouts, his differentiator is his elite strikeout rate (0.94 SO/IP) and raw velocity that makes him a high-upside arm for teams needing a power pitcher. His 6.43-second 60-yard dash and 2-way versatility add unique value, though his current ERA suggests he needs refinement in pitch control. If your team prioritizes velocity and strikeout potential over immediate consistency, Pollock is a strong fit with significant growth potential.
