Gavin Theis keeps Milwaukee’s rotation steady with veteran poise
In the 2026 season, Gavin Theis was a dependable weekend starter for Milwaukee, earning All-Horizon League recognition and giving the Panthers innings with some real bite: he logged 61 2/3 innings, struck out 50, and worked through a postseason-clinching stretch with an eight-inning, one-unearned-run gem against Wright State. His profile screams competitive, older-school staff anchor rather than pure radar-gun sizzle—he’s shown durability, strike-throwing, and the ability to rise in big moments. If you want a calm, battle-tested pitcher who can stabilize a rotation, he’s a fit.
