Bella Fuentes is a middle-order bat who can carry UCSB offensively
Fuentes enters 2026 as one of UC Santa Barbara’s most dangerous run producers after a breakout 2025, when she earned All-Big West First Team honors, set the program’s single-season RBI record with 62, and led the Gauchos with 11 home runs and a .559 slugging percentage. She’s more than a stat line: UCSB notes her clutch value through team-leading sacrifice flies and big-game damage, and preseason D1Softball recognition backs up the idea that she’s a legit impact corner infielder. If you want power, RBI pressure, and a proven high-leverage hitter at third, she fits.
