Callen Powers Is UMass’s Workhorse Arm With MAC-Second-Team Respect
In the 2026 season, UMass right-hander Callen Powers earned All-MAC Second Team honors after logging 84 innings, a 3.96 ERA, 75 strikeouts, and a 1.29 WHIP, ranking near the top of the league in innings and strikeouts. He’s a true starter’s starter: durable, attack-minded, and trusted enough to captain the staff, with a fast rise from a 2025 season that was more volatile (5.38 ERA) but still showed swing-and-miss ability. If your team wants a reliable innings-eater with competitive edge and conference-level production, he’s a strong fit.
