Alabama's 95 mph Freshman All-American RHP with Elite Strikeout Intensity
Myles Upchurch, Alabama's 2026 Freshman All-American RHP, stands out with a 93-95 mph fastball, 8-11 K/game intensity, and a deceptive four-pitch arsenal (cutter, curve, changeup) that held opponents to a .201 avg. Unlike typical freshmen, he chose college over the Reds' 19th-round draft pick (564th overall), signaling fierce commitment and a Sunday starter mentality. His 8-3 record, 3.45 ERA, and 78 Ks in 72 IP reflect elite control and resilience, with no injury history. For teams seeking a high-intensity, draft-proof RHP with pro-ready tools and a winner's mindset, Upchurch is a top-tier fit.
