Cameron Bagwell brings Wake Forest a long, bat-missing righty with starter upside
In the 2026 season, Cameron Bagwell emerged as a valuable Wake Forest rotation piece: 3-1 with a 4.81 ERA over 66.0 innings, 55 strikeouts, and a .270 opponent batting average, highlighted by a 7.0-inning, 9-strikeout gem vs. Liberty and a career-high 10 Ks at Georgia Tech. At 6-foot-5, he gives off big-bodied, starter-friendly upside, works deep enough to matter, and has already shown he can handle ranked competition. If you want a durable right-hander who can miss bats and compete, Bagwell is a real fit.
