In the 2025 season, Ryan Vasquez was listed by UIW as a 6-foot, 240-pound defensive lineman and did not record any stats, which points to a redshirt/developmental role rather than an impact production résumé yet. The upside is obvious: he has a sturdy frame for the position, homegrown San Antonio roots, and room to grow into a physical interior/edge piece if the motor and technique catch up. Right now, he looks like a fit for a program that values patience, upside, and trench development more than instant stats.
