Andrew Hunt brings middle-of-the-order juice and postseason-caliber versatility for UAB
In the 2026 season, Andrew Hunt emerged as one of UAB’s most productive bats, appearing in 56 games with 54 starts while splitting time across all three outfield spots and DH, and he was among the league leaders in runs, doubles, OPS, and stolen bases[1][7][8]. He pairs gap power with on-base skills and enough speed to threaten extra bases, and his recent American Conference honorable mention came after a 5-for-10 week with 10 total bases, 7 RBI, 5 walks, and a clutch late home run against Florida Atlantic[5][8].
