Versatile Sixth-Year Glue Guy Powering WKU's Backcourt
Emmanuel Akot, a battle-tested 6-8 guard/forward, averaged 7.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists at 39.9% FG in the 2022-23 season for Western Kentucky, flashing near triple-doubles like his 17-10-6 gem on 70% shooting. His differentiator? Elite positional versatility from prior Boise State stardom (10.6 PPG, 2021-22 All-Tournament honors) and multi-school journey (Mayville State, Memphis transfer), bringing championship intensity, playmaking IQ, and rebounding prowess rare for guards—perfect fit for teams needing a high-motor connector with one year left.
