Abby Hornberger is Princeton’s high-contact, clutch-hitting spark plug in the outfield
In the 2026 season, Abby Hornberger was a standout for Princeton, hitting .322 with a .921 OPS, 38 hits, 11 doubles, 5 homers, and 25 RBIs while starting 41 games in the outfield[1][2]. She brings a compact, reliable bat and proven run-production, plus a knack for timely damage—Princeton’s postseason run also featured a three-RBI performance from her in the Ivy tournament title game[1][2][3]. At just 5-foot-3, she plays bigger than the frame suggests, and the stats back up the eye test: productive, steady, and the kind of hitter who fits a contender looking for energy and middle-of-the-order bite[1][2][3].
