Luke Kimmel brings left-handed funk and competitive edge to UVU’s staff
In the 2025 season, Luke Kimmel was used as a left-handed option out of the Utah Valley bullpen and showed he can give a team a different look; his roster bio lists him at 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, and earlier UVU notes show he has already been trusted in relief work after a strong prep résumé that included a 2.46 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 2023. He’s the kind of arm worth caring about if your team needs matchup value, strike-throwing potential, and a gritty local competitor with upside rather than just radar-gun flash.
