Simon Lemke is giving SDSU a sneaky-valuable right-handed arm
In the 2026 season, Simon Lemke has emerged as a useful relief piece for San Diego State, including a win over Nevada and steady work in leverage spots, backed by a sidearm/right-handed look that can disrupt hitters. He’s not just a stat line: the long road from junior college and the transfer portal hints at a resilient, adaptable pitcher who’s had to keep adjusting to get here. The upside fit is obvious for teams that want a competitive, underrated bullpen arm with deception and a grind-it-out mentality.
