Cody Carwile brings veteran lefty depth and flashes of punchout potential for ETSU
In the 2026 season, senior LHP Cody Carwile gave East Tennessee State a steady bullpen arm: 15 appearances, 18 innings, a 5.50 ERA, and nine scoreless outings, with his best stretch coming against high-end competition like Georgia and UConn. At 6-foot-4 with a left-on-left profile, he offers useful matchup value, and the strikeout bursts suggest there’s still swing-and-miss upside in the tank. He looks like a solid fit for a team wanting a tall, experienced reliever who can handle pressure innings, though consistency remains the big question.
