Sterling Vaughn brings size, downhill pressure, and two-way guard upside to ECSU
Vaughn is a 6-foot-2, 227-pound guard for Elizabeth City State who adds uncommon physicality at the position and gives the Vikings a sturdy on-ball presence.[1] His high-school production showed scoring punch and activity—he averaged 15.6 points, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as a freshman at Glenn High, good enough to rank among the top performers in his classification and conference.[2] That blend of strength, defensive disruption, and established shot creation makes him an appealing fit for a team that wants a guard who can pressure the rim, compete physically, and impact both ends.
