Layla Sodini is a developing two-way arm with early strikeout upside for ETSU
Layla Sodini, a freshman RHP/OF at East Tennessee State, has shown early value in limited 2026 action: she has appeared in 4 games, logged 3.1 innings, and recorded her first career strikeout while posting an 8.40 ERA as she adjusts to the college level.[2][3] Her current pitch is upside more than polish, with the appeal of a versatile athlete who can help on the mound and in the outfield, plus the kind of competitive profile that earned her a college roster spot out of South Fayette/Bridgeville.[1][5]
