Josiah Adams brings versatile, physical upside to Villanova’s secondary
Josiah Adams is a freshman defensive back for Villanova in the 2026 season, and his selling point is versatility: he played safety, corner, and nickel in high school and finished his senior year with 34 tackles and six pass breakups. Villanova described him as a First Team All-Catholic defender and a 2024 4A state champion, while recruiting coverage praised his energy and aggressive coverage style. At 6-foot and around 165-170 pounds, he looks like a developmental DB with range, toughness, and position flexibility—exactly the kind of player a staff likes to mold.
