Abby Dayton is Oklahoma’s spark-plug senior outfielder
Abby Dayton was a breakout bat for Oklahoma in the 2026 season, hitting .386 with 51 runs, 13 doubles, 8 home runs and 43 RBIs while serving as an everyday outfield starter and one of the Sooners’ emotional leaders.[2][3][7] She’s the kind of fit every contender wants: contact plus pop, speed on the bases, defensive versatility across all three outfield spots, and the edge to thrive in big moments — including a grand slam against Ole Miss and a postseason-ready reputation.[3][6][12]
