Louisiana’s efficient, low-mileage RB with upside, but limited 2024 volume
In the 2024 season, Kendrell Williams logged just 5 carries for 13 yards, so he’s more of a depth-piece/offensive role player than a proven bell-cow right now. The big intrigue is his background: he arrived with a reputation as a productive Carencro runner who posted nearly 2,000 rushing yards in high school, and he’s got the compact build and burst that can fit a physical Sun Belt backfield. If a staff wants a tough, developmental back with local pedigree and upside, he’s a reasonable fit; if it needs an instant feature back, the résumé is still too thin.
