Efficient, veteran Samford back with proven SEC-level flashes
Micah Kelly brings seasoned, one-cut running back value to Samford: in the 2024 season, he rushed for 370 yards on 80 carries and scored once, while also adding 69 receiving yards on 13 catches, showing he can stay on the field in multiple roles.[3] He’s the kind of steady, mature back who can help a team with vision, ball security, and short-yardage reliability rather than pure breakaway flash; his Toledo résumé also shows a longer production track record before arriving at Samford.[2][3]
